The Wellington Firebirds have added some international flavour to their coaching staff for the upcoming Twenty20 competition.
Andy Pick, bowling coach for Nottinghamshire in England, is joining Bruce Edgar and Glenn Pocknall for the entirety of the McDonald’s Super Smash.
Pick, who spent a season playing for Wellington in 1989-90, is using the working holiday as professional development to help him with his role in England, and will bring a depth of coaching knowledge to the side.
A former England Under-19s coach, Pick also led Canada to the 2007 Cricket World Cup. See more
